I am truly honored to be invited to speak at a half-day session at the East of England Imaging Academy. This session will be presented to radiology trainees, who represent the future leaders and workforce of the NHS The day will be particularly poignant as it was at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where I started my first job as a House Officer in the NHS in 2003. It was the year I first arrived in the UK and it will also be a privilege to share my journey.I will be speaking from 14:30 to 17:00, with a break and a town hall session included. My topics for the day are:➡️ “Learning to Fail: The Path to Excellence in Radiology and Beyond”A discussion on the value of embracing failure as a critical step toward achieving excellence, not only in radiology but in all areas of life.➡️ “The Leader Within: Lessons from an Ice Skater and a Broom”An exploration of unconventional yet powerful lessons in leadership, inspired by unexpected sources.I am looking forward to this event and would like to extend my gratitude to the academy for this opportunity.A special thank you to Rayhaan Rahaman for arranging this.
